Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Timelo ("the Service"), operated by Exploode Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including salon owners, staff members, and clients who book appointments through the platform.

2. Description of Service

Timelo is an online appointment booking platform designed for service businesses such as hair salons, barbershops, physiotherapy clinics, dental offices, fitness trainers, and other service providers. The platform provides scheduling, client management, staff management, payment processing, notifications, and analytics tools. Timelo is available as a web application and a mobile application for iOS and Android.

3. Account Registration

By registering for an account, you agree that:

  • You will provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • You will maintain and promptly update your account information
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your password and all activity under your account
  • You will not create more than one personal account
  • You will notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate information or violate these terms.

4. Subscription Plans

Timelo offers the following subscription plans for business owners:

All features are available on all plans. The only difference between plans is the number of employees and locations. Annual plans include a 20% discount. Prices are in USD and may be updated with prior notice.

5. Payment Terms

Free Trial: All new business accounts receive a 10-day free trial with full access to all features. A valid credit card is required at the end of the onboarding process. No charges are made during the trial period.

Billing: After the trial period, your selected plan will be charged automatically via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annual).

Failed Payments: If a payment fails, you will receive a 10-day grace period with reminders on days 0, 3, and 7. After day 10, your salon will be paused (invisible to clients) until payment is resolved. Your data will not be deleted.

Payment Methods: We currently accept payments via Stripe (credit/debit cards). PayPal support is planned for a future release.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing settings in your dashboard or via the Stripe customer portal. Upon cancellation:

  • You will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period
  • Your salon will become invisible to clients after the billing period ends
  • All your data (appointments, client records, staff, settings) will be preserved indefinitely
  • You may reactivate your subscription at any time and regain full access

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, you will continue to have access for the remainder of your paid period.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to use Timelo to:

  • Send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk communications to clients
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users of the platform
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to extract data from the platform
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or system resources
  • Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

Violations of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

8. Intellectual Property

The Timelo name, logo, branding, and all associated visual designs, software code, and documentation are the intellectual property of Exploode Ltd. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Timelo platform without our written consent.

You retain full ownership of all content you upload to Timelo, including business information, images, client data, and appointment records. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

9. Data Ownership

Salon owners retain full ownership of their business data and client records stored on Timelo. This includes appointment history, client profiles, notes, tags, and all CRM data.

You may export your data at any time using the CSV export feature available in the dashboard. We support exports for appointments, clients, and revenue data.

We are committed to GDPR compliance. Salon owners are considered data controllers for their client data, and Timelo acts as a data processor. We process client data only as directed by the salon owner and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Exploode Ltd and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if:

  • You violate these Terms of Service
  • You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Your use of the Service poses a risk to other users or the platform
  • We are required to do so by law or regulation

In the event of termination, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and provide an opportunity to export your data, unless doing so would violate the law or compromise the security of the platform.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Exploode Ltd is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
